PHOSPHATIDYLCHOLINE
Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is a phospholipid found in every cell in our body. It is one of the main components that make up our cell membranes and plays a major role in communication between cells. Phosphatidylcholine is a major supplier of choline and acetylcholine, an excitatory neurotransmitter essential for proper muscle, brain and nerve function. PC is also found in the surfactant in our lungs, allowing us to breathe, as well as, the mucus lining in our gut, allowing us to absorb and digest nutrients.
